The mortar rheometer is a multifunctional rotating mechanical rheometer that can measure the plastic viscosity, yield stress, and maximum yield stress of freshly mixed mortar. The overall structure of the instrument is simple, easy to operate, and the measurement time does not exceed 1 minute. Suitable for various stages of scientific research, teaching, engineering production and construction, including universities, research institutes, construction units, material manufacturers, and mixing plant laboratories, etc.
The NELD-CRV 610 Mortar Rheometer can test the rheological properties of cementitious material mixes with a maximum fine aggregate size of 8mm, such as mortar, 3D-printed concrete, self-compacting concrete, fine aggregate concrete, and mortar. Following data can be derived from this rheometer:rheological curves and rheological parameters, the relationship with the construction performance, the relationship between the curing behavior and time under a certain mixing rate, the effect of concrete additives and inorganic admixtures on the construction performance. These data can then be used to further optimize the mix ratio of mortar (concrete). The instrument can analyze the thixotropic properties of the 3D printing materials as well.
